The hazards of cute strappy heels |

So having really cute shoes has it's hazards. I never used to care about things like cute shoes and jewlrey and all that, but over the last year or so that has been changing. I have this great pair of blue strappy sandals that I absolutely love. They perfectly match 2 of my favorite shirts and are super comfortable and totally cute. I get compliments on them EVERY time I wear them. They hav e little higher and narrower heel than I am really used to wearing, but it's not too bad. However, I learned the hard way today to not try and walk down uncarpeted stairs in these particular shoes. I was headed down to meet Adam for lunch and got about half way down the first flight of steps when I caught my heel on something and proceeded to BOUNCE down the rest of the flight. Now don't get me wrong, I have plenty of cushion back there, but I managed to tuck my leg under me and I am now developing a lovely bruise on my left foot, thigh and at the lowest point on my back. All I can say is it really hurts, and there is something that totally sucks about not being able to lean back against anything! Oh the things women put themselves through for fashion. Maybe I don't want to be such a girl anymore!
