Ok so I had a birthday on Sunday (26, getting too close to 30 for comfort if you ask me), and it was an AWESOME weekend.

I actually got my first present on the 25th when Adam took me to see the Bears get their butts beat by Arizona, but we had a good time anyway.  We took the whole day off on Friday and went downtown.  I had never been to Millenium Park during the day and it was really neat.  There's a fricking giant silver BEAN in the middle of the park.  Yes there are now pictures in the gallery.  

Damion and Jess were in town for the weekend, read all about Saturday night's adventure on their site.  Becky came down on Sunday and we went and did some shopping and then she took us out to dinner at Red Lobster.  Damion and Jess and Rob and Christie all came with, and I ate WAY too much.

Now on to why my husband is so amazing.  He ordered something for my birthday last week, but it didn't come in time, so he got me a fantastic easy piano book of contemporary christian songs, over 1/3rd of which Higher Ground is doing!  I am so excited that I think I am going to do at least 1 of them in the recital this year.  The best thing though was my real birthday present.  He got me an ORANGE Brian Urlacher jersey!!!! NFL licensed and all!   I am so excited!
