You know... as I sit here listening to the State of the Union Address... I'm struck by one thing.

The thing that strikes me about this is the way it has been and will be handled by the media.  Having heard both Left Leaning and Right Leaning media outlets today before the speech, I already know that this is not unexpected.  However, the Left will try to convince you this is a negative, while the right will try to convince you that this is a positive.

I want to throw my opnion in:  THIS IS A GOOD THING.  The President is reiterating what he's been saying because he isn't changing his mind.  His course is right, it is good, and it is the proper thing to do.  The economy is getting better while already being good.  4.6 million jobs can't be bad.  The war is nessicary and we CAN NOT withdrawl troops until the job is done.  The patriot act is for the good of the people, not to hurt the people.  

I am amazed by the SHEAR ignorance and blind rage that streams from the Left Wing Mainstream media.  I beg of you all to look at the FACTS from many sources and make your own judgement about our country, and if you disagree with me, PLEASE talk to me about it and back it up with REAL DATA, not let wing crap.

And now the President is talking about taxes.  Tax Cuts help Families, Small Buisnesses, and the Economy, how can you reason that raising them will help?  Again, I want facts!!!

LINE ITEM VETO!!!!!   WOO HOO!!!!  I've been a supporter of this for YEARS!!  Yes, its a GREAT power, but it can ABSOLUTLY remove the PORK associated with almost all legislation.

Buy American... how much more simple can you get?

Boarder security?  This is a toughy... I'm listening. 

Health Care... Controling Costs is the point here... it HAS to happen!  MEDICAL LIABILITY REFORM... he's mentioned this before folks... this is not an option!

Energy..... this should be good!!  TECHNOLOGY!!!!   Alternative Energy sources... AMEN to that... Zero Emission Coal, Wind, Solar, and Nuclear Energy.  Its a step in the right direction for sure!!!  Autos:  hybrid, electric, hydrogen, and ethanol.  Competative and practical in 6 years... very nice.  Replace 75% of oil imports by 2025!!!  NO MORE MID-EAST DEPENDANCE!!!  Those words are music to my ears!!

American Competativeness Innititative -  I'd be interested in the details of this.  Schooling appears to be a big part... FUND IT!!  AP cources.. very nice.

And a ton of GREAT facts about the state of our country.. very promising about welfare, abortion, and crime.

I find it amazing that people will choose NOT to clap on the stubject of human life being important.  Any guesses as to their political leanings?

Again, the President said what he has always said about almost everything.  This man is FIRM in his beliefs, and that is a positive.  I still encourage anyone who reads this to make a REAL effort to understand the issues, read the FACTS, and make their own opnions!!
