Well I think we're finally back in the swing of things after vacation. I have to admit this week was the longest week of work! 5 whole days! I haven't worked that much since the week after Thanksgiving!
The cruise was fantastic, although the 100 degree temperature change from when we got on the plane in Miami to when we got off in Chicago totally SUCKED! I hate cold weather! We took over 400 pictures, and I'm hoping to start getting them all uploaded (along with working on the gallery in general) a little bit tomorrow.
I'm also going to start harassing Adam about getting the comments fixed somehow. So if he still hasn't fixed it, feel free to send him an e-mail harassing him too.
Thanks to Damion, Jess, Anna, Jack, Sam, and Nicole for all their help and paitence. We got the engine back in, and despite a hint of danger, did take the bike down the street a short way in the odd 62 degree January Weather. Pics in the gallery!!
I have disabled comments without the security code again due to comment spam. I am aware that the comments security code thing isn't working.. I will try to resolve it tonight!
Ok so we're bad people with our own website. I just didn't realize that it's been 3 months since we posted. Let's see what been happening....
Adam got the bike running
I had a birthday
October flew by with the Haunted House
We flodded the basement when the sewer line backed up
We laid new laminate flooring in the basement to replace the ruined floor
We had thanksgiving at our house
Ok yea that's a short list for 3 months, but hey we're bad posters remember
Adam tells me that due to the site outages, I have to completly re-do the gallery in order for it to work, so I'll try and get that done soon. No promises though.
So having really cute shoes has it's hazards. I never used to care about things like cute shoes and jewlrey and all that, but over the last year or so that has been changing. I have this great pair of blue strappy sandals that I absolutely love. They perfectly match 2 of my favorite shirts and are super comfortable and totally cute. I get compliments on them EVERY time I wear them. They hav e little higher and narrower heel than I am really used to wearing, but it's not too bad. However, I learned the hard way today to not try and walk down uncarpeted stairs in these particular shoes. I was headed down to meet Adam for lunch and got about half way down the first flight of steps when I caught my heel on something and proceeded to BOUNCE down the rest of the flight. Now don't get me wrong, I have plenty of cushion back there, but I managed to tuck my leg under me and I am now developing a lovely bruise on my left foot, thigh and at the lowest point on my back. All I can say is it really hurts, and there is something that totally sucks about not being able to lean back against anything!
Oh the things women put themselves through for fashion. Maybe I don't want to be such a girl anymore!
